Postgame First Look – From Arrowhead

After the amazing cool factor of doing a recording live from Ray Jay the other night, I thought to myself, “Self. You should bring that video camera with you on the away games and record a first impression video in the stadium.”

I said in the pregame video that I wanted to see, more than individual players, the lines start to impose their will. They did that. I thought Freeman looked a bit rusty and missed some good looks long (possibly an over compensation from the situation at practice where it was reported he was taking too many shots.) Sadly, I think Larry Asante will be receiving a call from the league office on that great hit but that was not the only good hitting going on. It was great to see the team rally to the ball carrier and stick. As we talked about in camp, the youth and speed did cause some over pursuit and left cut back lanes wide open. Should be easy to correct but that discipline has to become natural.

Yea, I talk to myself a great deal. Here is the video. I will be doing my evaluation on Tuesday and covering my breakdown on the Tuesday night “Two Hand Touch” broadcast with Bucs Babe on 1010 CBS Radio and streaming right here 8-10 PM.
