OK, I have been swamped at the office, but I finally got around to posting something about the tailgate. What can I say? I would say the tailgate is bigger and better then ever! Of course there were a few glitches as it was the first one of the season, but things went very well indeed! Once again the tailgate far exceeded the game! 😉
It was of course hot as Hades out there, but there were plenty of refreshments to quench your thirst for sure! Major sword goes out to Chef Red who once again continues to amaze with his fabulous cooking and his Ghost of Barry Honey Hot Wings were to die for.
Also two huge swords up for Old School and the fabulous Bucs Babe for their first “Two Hand Touch” show at the tailgate as we were ustreaming live and everything went fantastic.
Major shout out to YoursTru Bigga for showing up and debuting his great “Red & Pewter” song at the tailgate as we do appreciate it and do not be a stranger for sure!
The mud bog was a little bit of a downer, but what do expect during the rainy season of Florida? It should start drying up for all of the other events planned as we will be getting into the dryer months.
Our little tailgate is definitely not so little anymore and we continue to draw the whose who of the Buccaneer Nation. I am always open for suggestions for future tailgates as we aim to make everyone in having a great time fo sure. Just drop me a message!
I think I speak for everyone here at “What the Buc” when I say we appreciate you all coming out and for the donations as every little bit helps us to keep this best tailgate in the Tampa Bay area going and growing.
Our next tailgate will be on 09/25/2011 when the Dirty Birds come to town! It is a 4:15pm kickoff, so our tailgate will probably start rolling around 11am or somewhere around that time. We look forward to seeing everyone out there then.
