WTB? in the house tonight for the Tuskers vs Locomotives!

While many people are drinking themselves into oblivion at Ray Jay tonight for the Bulls game, WTB? (In the form of Spent and OldSchool) are living large (no jokes about me!) in the Press box for this week’s Florida Tuskers vs. Las Vegas Locomotives UFL game. There are MANY familiar names and faces on the Tuskers roster as over 10 former Buccaneers populate this squad. This week you may recall, a number of the players on the Florida squad have lobbed some shots across our Buc’s bow.

Well, when you are winning, confidence swoons and the Tuskers are sitting pretty as they come into tonight undefeated and rolling over their opposition. Coach Haslett has the Tuskers playing aggressive football on both sides of the line of scrimmage and the league itself is really trying to make inroads into a market they feel is under served. With average ticket prices around $20.00, the league is trying to lure back the fans that have been priced out by an NFL establishment and owners that seem far more focused on the bottom line and rich corporate sponsors than they are about fielding a competitive product and appealing to the loyal fans that have made them what they are. It will be a tough road however, as they have chosen to go head to head with the NFL, NCAA, NHL, NBA, oh yea, and baseball. A little thing called the playoffs.
