Christmas Schedule Update: Live Wednesday Night

Hello folks. I know that the Monday cancellation caused some confusion and for that, I am sorry. With the live event Sunday and the guest spot on 1010 AM Monday AM, we figured Monday night would have been overkill. If you missed any of that content, it is all available via the podcast and on the site now.

As for New Orleans, you know, the next team that we play, we will be talking Saints Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. The previously perfect Saints will be prepared to take out their frustration on a hapless Bucs squad that managed to put some things together on the West Coast and get a win for their embattled head coach. The atmosphere will be that of a party in The Big Easy as they will certainly expect to have little trouble with the 2-12 squad from Tampa.

On the show, we will be discussing some of the normal topics and some new ones as well as reminding everyone about the WTB? Mardis Gras party that one of our listeners and super-fans is throwing at her house for all of us. You may have seen Kathy cruising the tailgate or Raymond James as one of the most identifiable fans of former Buc, Mike Alstott. Though her man Mike no longer carries the ball for our Bucs, she is still screaming her lungs out every week! For more information abot the party, check out the Event posting on the WTB? Facebook Page.

As for the discussion topics, we will need a lot of information from you fine folks. We need your Swords and Skulls from the victory in Seattle. WE also need your predictive MVP’s for this week’s contest. The Bucs made another HUGE roster move this week by releasing Yamon Figurs and resigning Michael Spurlock (Yes, I know that is not a huge move but I gotta do something folks!).

Broadcast areas will be all over the boards as this will be a water cooler style game. New Orleans is no mystery. They have a ridiculously potent offense and a vastly improved defense. Though we kept the first contest close for a half, they eventually blew our doors off. The defense we bring to NOLA this time is very different then the one they faced the last game. The major concern I have is that the recipe Dallas used to defeat the Saints involved an outstanding pass rush. This is an area we have been, let’s say, challenged in. We will be on turf which will help Stylez G. White. He plays much better on faster surfaces, but Coach Morris will have to dial up some damn good plans to slow down Drew Brees and the prolific New Orleans offense.

Join us Wednesday night at 7:00 PM and let’s talk Bucs Football!
