“What the Buc” Buccaneers Throwback Tailgate Party

OK Me Hearties, it once again seems like it’s been a month since our last tailgate party, but it’s now time for the next extraveganza!

Fear not that out beloved Buccaneers are struggling on the field as our tailgates are always a sure fire winner and this one will be no exception.

We have the much hated Carolina Panthers coming to town with their new leader Cam (I never met a laptop I wouldn’t take) Newton. This should be a great game between the two youngest teams in the NFL and both up and coming, just going through some growing pains right now.

This will be a very special tailgate as we do have some very special guests coming to join us as some former Buc’s players are coming out and the Atlanta Buc’s Tailgate Krewe is comign down to join us for this throwback game so make sure you all wear your creamsickle orange to this game. Mark Goodman heads the ATL Krewe and he was recently inducted into the NFL Fans Hall of Fame, which is a great achievement, so we will be celebrating this great feat at this tailgate with Mark. Hopefully our very own Big Nasty the only Buc’s HOF Fan inductee will be on hand again to help us celebrate it.

When Mark gets down here some of us have plans to visit the local Tampa VA hospital to visit our wounded heros there on Saturday and maybe give them some joy and good old Buc’s spirit. We also all have a get together planned on Saturday night after our visit to the VA hospital at the loval LeeRoy Selmons Restaurant on Boy Scout Road across fromt he International Plaza. I wil also post details to that at this event site.

We also welcome the two newlyweds Chef Red and his beautiful new bride Alicia back from their nuptuals and honeymoon. It will sure be good to get Chef Red back in the mix! 🙂 He will of course be back with his baby “Grillaneer” sorry Alicia! 😉

This will be a huge Carolina BBQ of epic proportions as both Chef Red and Maniac Jerry have some awesome smoked butts and ribs galore in store for us. We will of course still have our stocked bar with our very own Turbo Chill Keg running.

If you haven’t been before please join us as the address to put into your GPS is above in the headings. Maps will be attached below. Come one and come all and bring anything you would like to contribute or just leave a generous donation in our treasure chest up front as they’re truly appreciated and it helps us keep this great event going.

If you have any questions just ask me your host and tailgate czar Capt. Rino. We will also still be having our very own Old School back from the frozen tundra up North and his up and coming “Two Hand Touch” show with the beautiful fabulous “Bucs_Babe”. They will be broadcasting live from the site from 10am until 11am with 1010 am CBS Sports radio. If you’re not there by 10 am just tune in your radio to 1010 on your am dial to listen to our broadcast live.

I hope to see all of me hearties out there bright and early on a bloody mary morning! 🙂 Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

ChefRed

A lifelong Buccaneers fan that began working in the restaurant industry when he was 16, Chef Red continued this career while growing to love tailgating at the Buccaneers games. Started out with two small hibachi grills and a passion to cook. Began meeting up with the WTB? Tailgate Krewe and Captain Rino in 2007. During the Mike Alstott retirement party Chef Red and the rest of the current tailgate Krewe came up with a great plan to make the biggest and best tailgate party in the Tampa Bay area. Now residing off of Ohio Avenue the tailgate has grown into a special event for every Buccaneers home game. The addition of "Grillaneer" in 2011 which is a 20 foot customer smoker on a dual axel car carrier has grown the selection of food farther than what two hibachi grills can handle. Chef Red tailors his menu for every incoming opponent and tries something new each game. Rather it is hundreds of pounds of pulled pork, ribs, chicken, or even smoked salmon there is always something for everyone. Chef Red makes almost all of his own sauces, rubs, and side dishes with his own spin to please the crowds. Chef Red's motto is "Tailgating with Attitude" which speaks to his love of the Buccaneers and feeding the massive crowds at the tailgate. Chef Red
